Publishing Program was designed to very affordable for parents and adult
students.
There are two types of pricing associated a
Word
Ventures book project:
This is the price-per-student that we charge to do everything
necessary to turn participating students' work into a professionally
designed and officially published book that can be purchased
worldwide by anyone.
The participation fee for a given book
project depends upon several variables, all of which are chosen
by the teacher. However, the Participation Fee associated with
the majority of Word Venture's books is between $13–$15 dollars per
student.
The estimated participation fee for a
given book project will be listed on the
mini-web-site that Word Ventures creates for it.
The retail/cover price of your final book
will be set when it is nearly complete, based on its page length. Online booksellers
such as Amazon.com will sell your book for this price.
However, parents (and adult students) will be
given a one-time opportunity to purchase copies of final books
directly from Word Ventures for a substantial discount, and with
reduced or free shipping. Again, your mini web site will
explain further.
