Word Ventures book projects are always sponsored by someone.

Usually sponsors are organizations that are student-oriented, or who regularly "touch" students, such as schools, parent-teacher organizations, libraries, etc. In addition, Word Ventures often sponsors our own book publishing projects that are open to any qualifying student.

But individuals are also free to sponsor a Word Ventures book publishing project. A neighborhood parent, for example, can sponsor and oversee a book project that includes the work of the students in the neighborhood.
